LILA MICEVSKA as QUEEN LOUISE is a diverse & dramatic Film and Theatre actor based out of Sydney, Australia. Lila draws on her own experiences to bring a raw vulnerability and a powerful presence to her performances
Lila started as an adult Theatre student at the Arts Theatre Cronulla in 2019 and since then has performed in various productions including Travelling North, When We Were Young and Fragments of Human Suffering.
MATT BONNICI as NAPOLEON made his acting debut in Short+Sweet 2021 at both the Sydney and Illawarra festivals. In early 2022 Matt appeared in the Arts Theatre Cronulla’s Bareboards production of ‘Doormats Anonymous’.
In May 2022 he appeared in his first short film called ‘Believe Me’ for the JMC Academy. Since completing film school in 2006, he has also worked behind the camera as Art Director and Production Designer on various short/feature films and music videos. Matt is excited to work on ‘Queen takes Emperor’ – “Napoleon Bonaparte, as we know, is a larger than life historical figure. I’m thrilled to bring this feared and revered character to the stage.”
MICHAEL GOOLEY as LOGAN is the current President of the Arts Theatre Cronulla and a life member. His acting credits at the Arts Theatre include Life Without Me, Death of a Salesman, Proof, The Rise and Fall of Little Voice, Away, The Small Poppies, The Venetian Twins, Dancing at Lughnasa, Amadeus, She Stoops to Conquer and The Importance of Being Ernest. He has directed many productions for the Arts Theatre including Travelling North, Don’t Drink the Water, A Midsummer Night’s Dream, The House of Blue Leaves, The Beauty Queen of Leenane, Play it Again Sam, Cosi and The Popular Mechanicals. In 2005 he wrote and directed Relic.
JODIANNE KANAGIAS as JOSIE starred in “When We Were Young” in Bareboards in March 2022. Rockdale Theatre’ production of It Was A Dark & Stormy Night.

KAREN FIRMSTONE as CARLA has had a passion for the theatre and performing since high school. This is her fourth production with ATC. She played the role of Frances in ‘Travelling North’ in 2021 and recently Jesus in ‘The Book of Everything’, as well as featuring in ‘Bareboards-Doormats Anonymous’ earlier this year. She has performed in several other productions also, including Nancy in ‘We’ll Always Have Paris’ (STC), Carol in ‘Catch Me If You Can’ (Regals), a tap-dancing seagull in ‘The Little Mermaid’ (RMS) and a singing/tap-dancing nun in ‘Nunsense’ (Strathfield MS). She also works in background acting in film and television.
LAUREN GAFFNEY as SADIE made her acting debut for Cronulla Arts Theatre in 2022 on the crash test drama stage for “Love is an Amusement Ride”. This play received the audience choice for best play and she was awarded best actress for this performance. Lauren is a creative arts teacher and has studied drama since her youth, more recently with Cronulla Arts Theatre and NIDA adult courses. Lauren was drawn to the role of Sadie in “A Lovely Day for a Boating Trip” as she is passionate about exploring female friendships.
CHARLENE O’SULLIVAN as GWEN first started performing in school where she found her passion for acting. Since leaving she has toured a show in Europe, written and directed and also completed an Advanced Diploma of Acting from ACA in 2016. She is continuing to develop her acting skills and is excited to perform onstage once again.
